Wedding at Nationwide Hotel & Conference Center
Lewis Center, Ohio
The entire room was gazing up at the bride and groom as they shared their vows. Not a single eye was dry in the room. The most intimate and profound words were spoken. Word of love, words of promise, words of commitment. I struggled to capture this moment in between tearing up. But then, Jimmy called up Seneca’s daughter, Lacey to stand beside her mom. Jimmy, told this little girl his vows to her, as her soon-to-be father. And then I absolutely lost it. It was the sweetest thing a man could do for his daughter. A promise to be there for her for the rest of her life. Jimmy then placed a heart-shaped locket around her neck. Something for her to remember this day by and to know that she has a father. It was so special.
When I first met Seneca and Jimmy, they showed up for a sunrise engagement session at Schiller Park in German Village! Between all of our schedules, sunrise was the only time we could fit in their engagement session! This sweet couple woke up at 3 AM to get dressed and ready before the sun came up. And it was so worth! I was very excited for their wedding day.
Wedding day couldn’t have arrived fast enough! I had so much fun planning the timeline and hear about all of the wedding details. They chose the Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center for their wedding day and it was absolutely perfect.
Navy and burgundy tones with gold accents filled the room. Floral lanterns and a gorgeous floral arch with a chandelier accented this ceremony space. This sweet couple was married in front of close family and friends in the grand ballroom at the conference center. What was supposed to be an outside ceremony was inside due to the weather. But it was even more perfect than what we could have imagined.
The rain let up just in time for bridal party portraits. It was seriously meant to be! The rest of the evening was spent celebrating with this newly-wed couple. But prepare yourself, one more tear fest! After Jimmy and Seneca shared their first dance to Say You Won’t Let Go by James Arthur, Jimmy then shared the first dance with Lacey to You’ll Be In My Heart from Tarzan! It was so intimate and special to witness.
