Cody planned the most perfect proposal for Sara. Without her knowing he coordinated with both of their families and planned “family photos.” To keep Sara distracted he asked her to take the pictures! Sara, who was in way over her head was stressing about finding the perfect tripod and all of the gear she needed for these photos. Upon arrival, she still had no idea what was about to happen! Just as they were about to do their family photos, Cody popped the question and she said YES! They celebrated with their families after at a restaurant which Cody planned! What a perfect proposal and a complete surprise for Sara! So romantic right?!
When it came time for their engagement session Sara knew that she wanted to include their fur-kid, Howie to document this milestone in their lives! Howie came dressed in the sweetest bowtie for their engagement session! After some family photos, we explored The Scioto Mile and Bicentennial Park in downtown Columbus. We had the most perfect summer night. The temperature was so comfortable (which is so rare for summers here in Ohio) but best of all, the golden hour light was beyond perfect!
My favorite part was watching this couple have so much fun dancing on the bridge right as the sun was setting. It was so romantic and made me super excited to photograph this sweet couple’s wedding next spring!
