Summer Wedding at the Columbus Athenaeum
Columbus, Ohio
Sara and Cody grew up going to the same school a few grades apart so they always knew of each other. They ran into each other on OSU campus and started dating shortly after. It’s so cool how God places people in your life at the right time. Who knew all those years ago, they would end up married!! Cody popped the question at the Scioto Mile in downtown Columbus, Ohio. We took their engagement photos there last year as well! It was the perfect spot to celebrate this couple!
Wedding day for these two was perfect. The girls got ready at Sara’s house which was just a stone throw away from St. Catherine’s Church. Sara was so relaxed and ready to marry the love of her life. When we got to the church, Cody and Sara shared a prayer together. It was so intimate and so emotional! They couldn’t wait to see each other in just a few minutes during their ceremony.
They had the most God-filled ceremony in front of close family and friends. Celebrated with a bubble exit we headed over to the Scioto Mile for pictures!! It was so beautiful. Overlooking the river and the Columbus skyline it was beautiful.
The rest of the evening was spent celebrating at the Columbus Athenaeum. This historic building nestled in the heart of downtown was so beautiful. A grand ballroom with candlelit tables met your eye. Dusty blue and white accents filled the centerpieces. It was such a dream and reminded you of a scene from Beauty and the Beast!
