Let’s Go To Prom

Everyone knows that classic prom pose! It’s not as bad as you think and there are some really cute variations you can do with this traditional pose!

A twist on the original is instead of him wrapping both hands around her waist (I always think maternity for that), have them hold their hands straight down. With the hand furthest away from the camera he can rest his hand on her waist while she puts her hand on her him. It helps if they are a little offset for this pose (not directly back to belly). Have them lean into each other and look at each other. It makes for a super cute shot.

One of my favorite variations is to reverse the pose. Have her stand behind him a little offset. Have him put both hands in his pockets. When in doubt for guys, my go-to is hand in pocket! From there she can link her arm up through his arm and place her hand on his shoulder.

Another fun one his to have him come up behind her and hug her. Naturally, her hands will go to meet his. This is a fun one because they can sway and add some movement in! A fun directive is to have him “machine gun” kiss her check a million times. This always gets the couple laughing!

Stay tuned for next week’s blog post! If you missed last week’s post check it out HERE.
