I can’t believe we are just one month away from meeting our sweet baby girl! This final trimester is flying by, which I don’t horribly mind because I am definitely feeling pregnant now. Between feeling like a swallowed a watermelon, the nightly bathroom breaks and tiny feet kicking under my ribs…well let’s just say I am ready! But I’m also so blessed for every day she gets to stay and cook a little longer!
Our nursery is all set (minus hanging up some last-minute pictures on the wall), my hospital bag is packed, and I’m getting so excited for the next chapter of labor and bringing Olivia into the world.
This pregnancy has truly been an incredible journey. It is amazing what my body was created to do and knows what to do! It has been such an amazing time to self-reflect and prepare for motherhood. I’ve been so thankful for every day of this “wait and see” time in my life. I’ve been working through a devotional called Waiting in Wonder: Growing Your Faith While You’re Expecting by Catherine Claire Larson and I highly recommend it! I have loved praying over this pregnancy and diving into God’s word for parenthood. Truly, a must-read! It also has become a little journal to pass down to Olivia!
I was so excited to swap maternity photos with Sidney Middlebrooks Photography. We went to the Ellington Agricultural Center in Nashville, Tennessee and it was the perfect place for photos! The leaves were in full fall color and it was so much fun to celebrate and capture this little bump before we meet her!
I am counting down the days until our due date which is quickly approaching! We’re so ready to meet you, Olivia Jane! You are already more loved than you’ll ever know!
