Our Olivia Jane is 9 months! I have to say, it is so much more fun getting to know this sweet baby than the 9 months of pregnancy. I feel like pregnancy lasted forever but her growing up is just flying.
This month Olivia’s two bottom teeth are fully in and her top front teeth are starting to make their appearance. Sweet little babe has been so unhappy with teething. It doesn’t seem fun at all!
She is officially a crawling pro and is now pulling herself up on every and any surface. She just stands right up and spends most of her day standing. She recently started letting go and just wobbling until she falls down. I think we will have an early walker for sure! The other day she crawled over to me and just stood up. Not holding onto anything just went from a crawl to a stand. It surprised me SO much to see her standing!
We started sign language with Olivia a few months back. It has been helpful to communicate with her and for her to tell us how what she wants. So far, she can sign for milk, yes, and no. It is so adorable.
We had our first family vacation to Anna Maria, FL this month. It was Olivia’s first plane ride and first time visiting the ocean. We had so much fun and needless to say, we have a water baby! She LOVED the pool and the ocean. I feel like since we’ve been back from our trip she wants longer bath times to splash and play!
I’m now starting to plan Olivia’s first birthday party as it is quickly approaching! Yay for Pinterest boards! I can’t believe we will have a little one-year-old in just a few short months!
9 Month Milestones
Olivia loves to stand, chewing on everything, signing when she is hungry, and water.
She dislikes when Mama doesn’t hold her 24/7 and when she can’t explore.
