Babymoon and 3 Year Anniversary Trip

New York City, New York

I can’t believe I’m 6 months pregnant! This year (and pregnancy) has just flown by! We have 110 days until Miss Olivia is due so Musa and I took a much-needed work/babymoon/anniversary trip to New York City! It was SO nice to get away, just the two of us, and focus on spending time together, with no distractions. Musa and I both work from home so it’s so easy to fall into an everyday routine. Breaking up this cycle by actually getting out of our house was truly a vacation for us!

The first hotel we stayed at was The Nomad. It was incredible! It had such a modern, speak-easy kind of feel to it. We absolutely loved staying here and highly recommend it! Their main restaurant was out of this world. Everything was made in-house and had such a unique spin to classic dishes. We are HUGE foodies so good food is super important to us!

The main reason we went down was for the Eric Thomas 1% Conference. This event was for business people and entrepreneurs who are ready to take action to achieve the top one percent lifestyle and businesses. Musa and I both attended this conference and it was life-changing! First of all, it was the BEST investment I could’ve done for my business, to get out of photography land and focus on business at large. It not only was motivational but set such a plan on how to grow your business to the top 1%. I have already been implementing tools I’ve learned and my productivity has been so different. I used to get distracted (or discouraged) with everyday life (especially working from home) and now when I work, I’m strictly working.

Not only was this an amazing conference for business but for our own personal marriage and life. Musa and I now have totally revised our finances, set investment goals for the future, and have taken a different approach to make our marriage even stronger before our little Olivia comes later this year. I highly recommend attending an ET conference because it will completely change your life and your business.

After the conference, Musa and I switched hotels to the St. Regis NYC. Musa thought it would be fun to try two different hotels in the city and it was so worth it! The St. Regis is just an iconic hotel. It was such a great experience to stay here and we were right on 5th Ave and Central Park which made walking around the city so convenient.

On our last night and anniversary, we ate at Le CouCou which was simply divine. Classic French cuisine at its finest! Musa surprised me with pearl earrings for our anniversary and they are stunning! It was the perfect end to a great work/babymoon/anniversary trip!
