Light Blue and Floral Wedding At The Darby House
Galloway, Ohio
All the guests were seated, the music began to play. Adam’s eyes were fixed down the aisle, waiting for his bride to turn the corner. With a beaming smile and tear-filled eyes, Jamie and Adam’s eyes finally met. Adam gasped, “oh my God” under his breath. Jamie literally took his breath away. I’ve never seen a groom react the way Adam did to seeing his bride, for the first time. It was so intimate and so full of love, it gave me chills.
The best way to describe Jamie and Adam’s wedding was, easy. Not in the “oh this is easy” kind of a way, but truly meant to be, everything flowed. From our first meeting together to the wedding day, everything was so peaceful, went to above and beyond our wedding day expectations, and was simply perfect. I’ll never forget talking to Jamie throughout the entire wedding planning process and not only did everything come together seamlessly but they were just both so ready to get married and celebrate their day in front of their close family and friends.
Jamie and Adam met on a blind date set up by Jamie’s cousin. Adam, having many nicknames from his friends, was brought up to Jamie on many occasions. Having no idea who his AB (which turned out to be his initials) guy was, Dana, her husband Andy, Adam and Jamie all met up. At the end of the night, Jamie turned to her cousin and said that she had no interest in meeting this AB guy because she really liked Adam. Little did she know this AB guy was her Adam all along!
Adam proposed on a romantic sunset cruise in Florida. He had arranged the vacation and sunset cruise in Destin. Jamie said he started acting super strange when the boat stopped out in the water and then he popped the question! Jamie was totally blown away and surprised! Of course, she said YES!
Jamie and Adam were married at The Darby House in Galloway, Ohio. Nestled on acres of rolling pastures, lined with mature trees and white fencing, The Darby House was the perfect venue. We couldn’t have asked for better weather and we even had the most magical sunset! Jamie was truly a vision wearing a Sassi Holford wedding gown. With lace sleeves, a flowy skirt and a family veil, she was stunning! The sweetest detail to Jamie’s day was her grandmother’s wedding dress that she had both while getting ready and displayed at the reception. To see the love legacies that came before this sweet couple was so special.
