It was a hot humid summer evening. By hot, I mean 90 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. I walked into Winans Chocolates + Coffee in German Village and ordered my favorite summer beverage, an iced chai. I went and sat outside, so excited for tonight’s engagement session!
Danelle and Garrett looked so adorable! Danelle wore a stunning blue dress and the cutest Kate Spade Floral shoes! Garrett wore a navy suit with a white dress shirt and dress tie that matched Danelle’s outfit! This couple seriously wins the best-dressed award! The colors were so sharp and were going to be perfect against all of the brick in German Village!
We first started exploring the historic cobblestone roads in German Village! The sun was beginning to peak into golden hour and was so pretty. After exploring the streets, we decided to head back to Winans to get some cold beverages and cool off! It was SO hot and we were definitely melting in the summer heat. After we cooled off we headed back out for golden hour in Schiller Park!
On our way to the park, we passed the cutest house! The owner of the house was the absolute sweetest and turned on her porch lights for us! It was so romantic! She had the sweetest florals that made for such romantic photos! We ended our session in Schiller Park. The gardens were filled with soft golden light that made for dreamy photos! Our last photos were over the bridge. It truly was a perfect end to this amazing day!
