Inniswood Metro Gardens Engagement

Bethany was SO excited for her engagement session! She prepared weeks in advance for this romantic photoshoot. We picked out outfits for both her and Jeremy and scheduled hair and makeup. This was going to be such a gorgeous engagement session! Bethany found her dresses at Morning Lavender, which is one of my favorite boutique stores! But really, isn’t her dresses gorgeous?! One neat fact about Morning Lavender is that the owner is a wedding photographer! She created a romantic clothing line for photography sessions!
When the day came, we met at Inniswood Metro Gardens in Westerville, Ohio on a gorgeous summer evening. The weather was perfect, not a cloud in the sky. This made me SO excited because golden hour was going to be epic! Bethany and Jeremy are seriously the kindness couple. We had SO much fun exploring the gardens, laughing, and taking the most amazing dreamy engagement photos!
Bethany and Jeremy met in their high school marching band! There’s something about high school sweethearts that just melts my heart! Jeremy proposed last spring when Bethany and Jeremy were home for Easter weekend. He had planned an entire day for Bethany to spend time with her family. From getting her nails done to having lunch with her dad. However, instead of going to lunch, her dad dropped her off at one of her favorite parks.
At the entrance to the park, he stopped his car and pulled out a note. The note said “Year 1” on it with a picture of Jeremy and Bethany and a sweet note recapping their first year together. When they got to the main parking lot, Jeremy’s dad was standing there with another note that said “Year 2.” They directed Bethany to walk down a trail where she met his sister and further down Bethany’s mom who had “Year 3” and “Year 4.” Bethany kept walking a little further and found Jeremy’s mom who had “Year 5.” Each note added to their love story. From there, Bethany kept on walking and saw Jeremy standing underneath a bridge surrounded by flowers! When she got to Jeremy, he handed her a note that said: “Year 6 to be continued…” He got down on one knee, surrounded by their family and proposed!! How romantic, right?! This is one of the most thought out proposals I’ve ever heard!
The love story of this couple is truly amazing. I can’t wait to see where this couple goes! Jeremy is currently in the process of applying to vet school and Bethany PA school! On top of all of their education, they are planning a wedding for 2019! How exciting, right!? Bethany and Jeremy LOVE animals and when Musa and I went away to Hilton Head, these two watched our puppy, Fly! Seriously, the best couple ever!
I can’t wait to capture this sweet couple’s wedding next year! It’s going to be amazing! Congratulations to Bethany and Jeremy on your engagement! I can’t wait for your wedding day next year!
