Wedding at Worthington Hills Country Club
Worthington, Ohio
I have really gotten to know Bethany and Jeremy over the past year and I was really looking forward to their wedding day! Bethany and Jeremy used to pet sit Rex and Fly for us when we were moving and traveling (which we did a lot last year). I was SO excited to see these two get married.
Bethany and Jeremy are what movies get their inspiration from. Their love story began 8 years ago in the high school marching band. What started out as a friendship turned into a romance that would bring them to their wedding day many years later.
Jeremy proposed along a nature trail surrounded by their entire family! He had each one of their family members spaced out along a trail and they each gave Bethany a handwritten note from Jeremy that correlated to the number of years they had been together. It was so special to not only remember their journey to love but also to include those they love most in their engagement!!
These were married on a gorgeous summer day at the Worthing Hills Country Club in Worthington, Ohio. Their wedding day was absolute perfection. Blush, white, and greenery accents filled the ballroom and ceremony space. It was gorgeous!
Bethany wore a stunning ballgown with a lace top. It was so elegant and truly out of a fairytale. To top it off her cathedral length veil had lace accents that just brought the entire look together.
As a wedding photographer, there are certain bridal parties that stand out, and this bridal party was definitely one for the books. Every single bridesmaid and groomsmen were just so joyful for this couple and so eager to make their day as special as possible. It was such an honor to both witness and capture.
One of my favorite moments was when Bethany and Jeremy exchanged vows. They were not together, as this was before the ceremony. I don’t even know what was written as each one read them quietly to themselves. But the reaction from each of them was filled with so much emotion and love. When Jeremy read his letter, the smile on his face was from ear-to-ear. But he was so sincere and so genuine, truly soaking up each word Bethany had written. And when Bethany read her letter, tears filled her eyes. She was overwhelmed by the vows Jeremy was making to her and so excited to start their life together. It was a moment I will never forget.
The ceremony was amazing. Jeremy’s face, when he saw his bride walking down the aisle, was priceless. The message was so God-filled, what marriage truly is all about. The couple’s marriage mentors came up and prayed over them. It was so amazing to witness that this couple not only is starting their marriage with a Godly foundation but they have the support and love from their closest loved ones to help them along their journey.
The rest of the evening was spent celebrating the newlywed couple! My favorite part of the reception was the first dance! Bethany and Jeremy danced to Dance With Me by Morgan Evans and Kelsea Ballerini. They couldn’t take their eyes off one another and it was so intimate to witness. These two truly are soulmates.
