Top Items In My Emergency Kit

A Wedding Day Must

My wedding day emergency kit is just as important as my camera gear on wedding days! I started to notice things that people forgot or didn’t even think to bring on a wedding day. That inspired me to create my wedding day emergency kit! I seriously use this for EVERY wedding and carry it throughout the entire day. This not only helps make the wedding day run smoother but it truly shows your brides that you want their day to be absolutely perfect. Serving and pouring into your brides is the MOST important gift to give to your couples. Here are the three most used items in my emergency kit:

1) Bobby Pins

I carry bobby pins not only in my emergency kit but also in all of my camera bags. On those windy days, they come in handy to reinforce a veil or fix an updo. I have had to restock these for almost every wedding!

2) Double-Sided Tape

This has come in handy from fixing dresses to saving brides from beads sleeves that were digging into their skin. The important thing to remember is this is the first day that your brides are wearing their dresses! Sometimes you don’t know the little quirks of the dress until you are wearing it. Double-sided tape has saved many wedding day mishaps!

3) Scissors

On the subject of first-time apparel. Most items for wedding day still have the tags on them. From the dress hanger ribbons to new shoes, having scissors there helps get those tags off safely. My biggest fear is to rib a veil or illusion gown before the wedding! Scissors to the rescue every time!

These are the three most used items in my emergency kit. Three other popular items that were a close second to the top three are safety pins, eyelash glue, and my sewing kit! All of these items fit into a cute little travel makeup bag and fits right into my camera bag. I wouldn’t leave a wedding without this! Seriously, a wedding day must!
