2 Year Anniversary

Sitting here writing this, I can’t believe how quickly our second year of marriage went by! This year has been filled with so much excitement for our future. From our first townhouse together to getting ready to start our lives in Tennessee, it has been quite the adventure! Throughout this year we have drawn even closer to our faith. It is our faith that is shaping our family and our future.
This year we added a new family member, Fly and our so excited dreaming about our first house together!! We have had some epic date nights this year. From camping on the living room floor to picnicking on our porch, it is something I will never forget. I am SO excited to be on this crazy journey of life with my best friend at my side. In our little tradition, Musa and I write letters to renew our vows for one another every year! I’m so excited to share the next chapter of our love story with you!
Becca’s 2 Year Vows
Musa, I can’t believe how quickly two years of marriage has gone by! It’s been such a fun adventure being your wife. You always make me laugh, are my person when times get tough, and most of all, I can always count on you. You make me smile every time you bring me home flowers and I truly appreciate the foot rubs after every wedding day! You seriously have no idea how much that means to me. 2018 was definitely our year and a year of new adventures. From moving out of our townhouse, starting back at school, moving to another state, adding a new fur member to our family, and most importantly growing deeper in our faith. Our weekly Bible study is SO much fun and I’m so glad we have God in common to cling to in this marriage. I am so blessed to have you as my husband and I am SO excited for what God has in store for our marriage to come! I promise to continue to fall even more in love with you and to be your person. Marriage with you is such a blessing. You continue to bring out the best of me and I in you as we continue to grow both as a couple and as individuals. I just fall even more in love with you every day! Happy 2 year boo! <3
Musa’s 2 Year Vows
The perception of time is such a funny thing. These past two years with you have flown by quickly, too quickly I’d say. But on the other hand, it seems like we’ve known each other for at last twenty years. You have become a part of me that I can’t live without. So much so, in fact, that it would be fair to say you know me better than I know myself. It’s been such a blessing to hold your hand and have you by my side as we journey through this side of heaven. You’re brilliant, you’re courageous, you’re empathetic… AND you’re cute! You encourage me to pursue my dreams (even the ones I thought I didn’t want… ahem, college) and sculpt me into a better version of myself each passing day. I’m so eager to start this new chapter of our lives together. A new state, a new home, a new job, heck…basically a new life! And with God’s grace, this will be the house where we begin to grow our family. I love you baby and thank you for making me feel like I’m the luckiest man alive. Happy anniversary! Love, Musa
